PHOENICIA, Berytus. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ 26mm (13.34 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Facing bust of Astarte within tetrastyle temple; [statues of Poseidon and two figures holding wreaths] on roof; in exergue, dolphin right. SNG Copenhagen 123; BMC 231-4. Fine, dark grayish-green patina with orange earthen depsosits.
